Ripples in the sand

The stretch of sand between Blyth and Seaton Sluice in Northumberland is over 4 miles long and beautifully soft. This image was taken on a sunny morning in July at low tide with ripples in the sand carrying the eye to the horizon where there are ships and St Mary's Island visible.
