Springtime at Northumberland Park, North Shields

Northumberland Park in North Shields was opened in 1885 and still has many of the old Victorian characteristics including a medieval herb garden, a band stand and a butterfly meadow. This image was shot on a cold April morning and shows the duck pond and a small cherry tree in blossom.
