Northumberland Park, North Shields

Northumberland Park in North Shields was opened in 1885 and still has many of the old Victorian characteristics including a medieval herb garden, a band stand and a butterfly meadow. This image was shot on an overcast June morning and shows the duck pond with its lovely yellow Irises.
