Take the promenade to the island

St Mary's Lighthouse and island lie north of the River Tyne and Whitley Bay on the North Sea coast of England. The lighthouse is no longer in operation and is now a museum and tourist attraction which is only accessible at low tide when the causeway is not under water. The image was taken after High Tide on a mild March morning shortly after sunrise from the promenade leading to the island itself.
