Cullercoats Sunrise - Panorama
The sandy bay at Cullercoats in the North East of England is enclosed by two small piers and was once a thriving fishing village in the early 1800s and is now home to the Dove Marine Laboratory (Newcastle University) and an RNLI Lifeboat station. This image was taken from the North end of the bay on a bitterly cold December morning with Tynemouth Pier and lighthouse showing on the horizon.
