Pink and Blue St Mary's Island.

This image was shot just after sunrise on a cold January morning with a red glow from the pink and blue pastel colours in the sky, capturing the attention of photographers and making an unusual shot of St Mary's Island and its reflection in the rockpools left by the receding tide. The island is situated near the town of Whitley Bay on the North East coast of England and is cut off from the mainland each high tide as the water covers the causeway at that time.
