Maltese Ferry Boat

This image shows a traditional Maltese Ferry (Dghajsa Tal Pass) on Dockyard Creek between the cities of Vittoriosa and Senglea. These small boats have been operating on and around the Grand Harbour in Malta for many hundreds of years, since Phoenician times and have become a vital way of crossing the harbour to and from the capita city of Valletta.
