Republic Street, Valletta

This wonderful building at the start of Republic Street in Valletta, opposite the Maltese Parliament building was built as Palazzo Ferreria in the eighteenth century. The building incorporated the traditional Maltese balconies and is now an imposing architectural masterpiece in the centre of Malta's capital city.
