Portrait of an October Sunrise

Lovely October sunrise with a red glow to the sky as seen from the quayside on the River Blyth in Northumberland. The tall ship Williams II (which is being restored to recreate an epic voyage to Antarctica when a Blyth born sea captain discovered the land mass in 1820) is silhouetted against the morning sky.
