Rhapsody in Blue

Druridge Bay in Northumberland is seven miles of beautiful beach between Cresswell in the south and Amble in the north and is almost deserted for much of the year. This image was taken on a fine, sunny March morning with the sandy beach under a blue sky and whispy clouds, which were reflected in the wet sand as the tide receded giving everything a lovely blue glow.
