Reflecting on St Mary's Lighthouse

St Mary's Lighthouse and island lie north of the River Tyne and Whitley Bay on the North Sea coast of England. The lighthouse is no longer in operation and is now a museum and tourist attraction which is only accessible at low tide when the causeway is not under water. The image was taken on an October morning shortly after sunrise with a lovely soft light and the calm conditions were excellent for the lighthouse reflection in the rock pools left by the retreating tide.
