Druridge Bay rainbows

Druridge Bay in Northumberland is seven miles of beautiful beach between Cresswell in the south and Amble in the north and is almost deserted for much of the year. This image was taken on a bright December morning looking North towards a bright rainbow with sand dunes bathed in sunshine while the North Sea was still in shadow, with the hint of a second rainbow in the darker blue sky.
